What PhilFees Is

PhilFees.com is a free, independent calculator that estimates Philippine court filing fees — including Small Claims, Municipal Trial Court (MTC), Regional Trial Court (RTC), and National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) cases — based on the Rule 141 fee schedule and related issuances. It also covers region-specific guidance for all 17 administrative regions of the Philippines, plus practical filing guides and downloadable templates.

Why We Built It

Court filing fees in the Philippines are governed by a fee schedule that most people never encounter until they need to file a case — and the math (docket fee, legal research fund surcharge, and other add-ons) isn't always straightforward to work out on your own. PhilFees exists to make that calculation instant and free, so litigants, paralegals, and small business owners can budget accurately before stepping into a courthouse.

Who Runs This Site

PhilFees is built and maintained by Vanilabs (vanilabs.co), an independent software studio that builds focused, free utility tools. PhilFees is one of several niche calculators and reference tools Vanilabs publishes.

He cross-checks every fee table against Rule 141 and publicly available Supreme Court issuances before it goes live.
